    1. Fast & Furious Franchise
      • What it is: Increased action sequences such as car chases and robberies as well as expanding the main character’s circle with additional people.
      • Why it works: This is testified by spectacular stunts put up by auto racers and the obsession with what is traditionally called ‘family’.
    1. Terminator: Dark Fate
      • What it is: A direct continuation of the first two Terminator movies to disregard all other entries in the series.
      • Why it works: Recasted with the initial main characters and relies on the main plot but received both positive and negative feedback.

    Conclusion:

Most reboots are well intentioned as they offer new looks on or updates to familiar properties but the fan base may or may not embrace it.
Whenever sequels maintain respect for both the plot and the characters, and introduce new wrinkles, the results tend to be positive.

Reboots and Sequels are effective in providing powerful actions and good stories, but their effectiveness comes with the factor of innovation with a twist of the past.
